An important tradition and extension of the health care teams at each Northside facility, the Northside Hospital Auxiliary provides compassionate support and quality service to patients, families and visitors, and also performs vital fundraising to support special projects that benefit the hospitals and the communities they serve.

Teen Summer Program - Atlanta campus
Mature, responsible teens over age 14 may apply for a limited number of positions in the volunteer program. This summer experience helps young people explore health careers while developing a sense of self worth. The learning environment provides them with new role models, new experiences and interaction with a diverse population. Applications are available in local high school guidance offices in mid-February.

The following steps that are required to become a Volunteer at Northside Hospital:
All Northside Hospital Volunteers are required to be members of the Auxiliary, attend an orientation, purchase a volunteer uniform to wear while on duty and pay annual dues. In addition, a once a week, four-hour commitment to your assigned service is required.
